Full Time Metal Fabricator & Welder

 Immediate, Full-Time Openings.  JunoWorks., a large-scale metal Sculpture & Art fabrication shop is looking for goal oriented, creative and experienced metal fabricators & welders seeking challenging and unique work.

For 25 years JunoWorks had been fabricating larges metal sculptures for clients throughout the US and Internationally.  We offer a full range of services from design development through installation and close-out. Personal Attributes and Skills Need to be Successful:

×        Must be steady, decisive, flexible and friendly

×        Be able to work overtime when needed

×        Have 2 + years of experience in a fabrication/welding environment

×        Be experienced with TIG and MIG welding processes

×        Ability to read and work from architectural drawings

×        Be comfortable with the operation of grinders, band saw and cold saw

×        Ability to stand, bend, twist and reach for long periods of time

×        Ability to lift 75 pounds

Schedule:

×        Full-Time, 40-hours per week

×        Shop location is 5495 E 69th Ave, Commerce City, Colorado.

×        Willing to travel occasionally for installations

×        Willing to work overtime as needed.

 Compensation & Benefits:

×        Pay ranges from $24 to $30 an hour depending on experience.  Paid biweekly.

×        Paid holidays and vacation days.

JunoWorks Technical Designer

JunoWorks is a Denver based custom metal fabrication studio specializing in art and architectural metal works.  We work on a wide range of project scopes at a local, national, and international level.

Our studio is seeking a full time creative technical designer to work on the development and realization of large scale public art projects.   We’re looking for someone who wants to solve complicated problems in interesting ways.

 

Responsibilities:

-          Work with clients to buildable design from initial concepts

-          Work with technical and fabrication managers to develop fabrication plans, details, and project schedule 

-          Communicate project details with clients, engineers, and other project stakeholders

-          Create accurate 3D models for fabrication

-          Create fabrication drawing sets, and files for laser cutting

-          Create material takeoff spreadsheets for estimates and ordering

-          Work with fabrication team to resolve issues that arise

-          Assist with measuring, fabrication, and install

Requirements:

-          High proficiency in Rhino 3D

-          Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace

-          Digital fabrication experience

-          Experience in technical design, industrial design, architecture, or engineering, preferably in a creative fabrication setting.

-          Experience creating fabrication drawings and files for laser cutting

-          Ability to interpret structural and construction documents and drawing sets

-          Strong visual communication skills

-          Understanding of fabrication techniques and design tolerances

-          Experience in construction, fabrication, or CNC operation preferred

Pay and Benefits:

-          Salary $40K to $65K
